WHO AM I?

What is it to be onself? Are we as we seem to be? Or is there an “I” which no none knows and ever will? How much can we protect the “I” inside us? Is truth always the truth? Plane and curve are the foes in maths. Do we not always hear their voices inside? Let’s go on with our story...

Our story tells of a hero
for whom the world is almost not enough.
In hi shomeland Norway,
in the palace of trolls on the mountains,
among the bedouins in the desserts of Morocco
Among the Sphynx in Egypt...
Many times has he worn disguises, many times has he worked at different jobs,
just for the sake of becoming a king.
However, never has he given up his own self.
There is a thin line between
Dreams and tales,
dream and lies...

Old Peer Gynt finds a big onion while walking in the forest. He takes it, looks at it and likens himself to the onion. Each succulent represents different stages in his life. He starts to remove the flakes one by one. The outer flake is the burly Peer Gynt who has done incredible tricks in the deer hunt; the one after that is the crazy Peer Gynnt who abducted a girl from her wedding in Norway; the other is the fake savior Peer Gynt who wandered in the desserts of Morocco in a king’s robe and on top of a horse he found by chance; the other one is the opportunist, rich Peer Gynt who got into risky businesses in America... And it goes on. Hoping to find a core in the center which represented the real, the unchanged Peer Gynt, he goes on peeling of the flakes. But the onion had no core! There is Peer Gynt nothing at hand and with flakes and succulents of the onion on the ground. Then he asks himself: Who am I?
