THE BOY WHO WOULDN’T GROW
AND WHO NEVER DIES,
PETER PAN, HIS QUESTS
AND HIS ADVENTUROUS FRIENDS.
Peter Pan is the story of a boy who will never grow and other kids who embark on an adventure with him.
Peter Pan’s creator, Scottish writer James M. Barrie could probably not guess that the hero of his play would be so famous and have an impact on millions of people. First staged in 1904, the writer later in 1911 novelized it as Peter Pan and Wendy hence started Peter Pan’ journey around the world having been translated into almost all languages. Inspired by a boy Barrie knew, Peter has the innocence, purity, naughtiness and joy of a child while at the same time acting like and adult pursuing his decisions, proud of himself, vengeful and warrior-like. Adding his ability to fly on top of everything, Peter Pan becomes a hero who is adored by both children and adults.
The mischievous and rebellious Peter Pan lived in the Neverland with other kids who do not want to grow like him, occasionally breaking into houses to convince other kids not to grow and live in the Neverland.
One night, Wendy, John and Michael - three siblings of a middle-class English family the Darlings – follow Peter Pan through the sky to the Neverland. There they meet the Lost Boys, Indians, mermaids and fight the mischievous Captain Hook. After a series of breathtaking adventures, one night they fly back home. But they will not be alone this time.
People from all ages, every social status may think of being Peter Pan should they have the opportunity. Well, they may be right to do so, because growing up is not that good...
